Man United eye Liverpool target; Rooney; Sessegnon

We have heard plenty about Liverpool chasing Roma goalkeeper Alisson (though it now looks likely that they will show faith in Loris Karius) and also plenty about them being put off by his £88m asking price. Well they would be; it’s preposterous.
Now The Sun are quoting Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that Manchester United are also interested in the Brazilian as they prepare to lose David De Gea to Real Madrid. Surely Real Madrid will just sign Alisson if he’s that good. Oh they are…
Real Madrid will submit a formal offer for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson very shortly, according to RMC's @mohamedbouhafsi.
Real Madrid's offer is set to be €70m, several meetings have occurred between Alisson's entourage & the La Liga side, according to RMC.

Wayne Rooney wants to move to MLS club DC United, according to the Daily Mail, who say he is ready to sign a £12.5m contract.  Of course he is. Our favourite line is the one about Rooney being ‘on the verge of turning his back on the Premier League’; surely the Premier League has already turned its back on Rooney.
That £12.5m contract – which will run until the end of the MLS 2020 season – is said by the Mail to be worth £12.5m, but The Sun claim exclusively that ‘WAYNE ROONEY’S bumper £300,000-a-week deal at DC United will be paid by THREE different clubs’. Those numbers do not add up in the slightest but all we really know is that Rooney will be off and nobody will miss him.

PSG JOIN RACE FOR SESSEGNONWell he does sound a tad French so it’s little wonder that PSG are eyeing Fulham’s teenage wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon. Manchester United, Manchester City are all said to be interested in Sessegnon and now – according to the Daily Mirror – PSG are now pushing hard to try to land the starlet, who could cost up to £50million.
Sessegnon’s future will surely hinge on Fulham’s fate in the Championship play-offs; he has made it clear that he would stay with the Cottagers for one season in the top flight.
